![]() ![]() In Jedi Academy you take on the role of a new Padawan (which you can customize the looks and what kind of lightsabers you use) and then go on missions. ![]() In Outcast you once again take the role of Kyle Katarn, rebel agent and part time Jedi, as you try to stop an evil Sith from getting his hands of an ancient Sith artifact. The franchise started with Dark Forces, a Doom (old Doom) "clone", but became really popular with Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, the prequel to Jedi Academy. In terms of plot it takes place in the expanded universe that existed before Disney bought the rights to SW, so you have the New Republic fighting against the various Imperial Remnants while Luke is busy reestablishing the Jedi order. It's part first person shooter and part third person saber combat, and pretty much the best implementation of saber combat the Star Wars franchise has gotten. ![]()
